People

A small senior team. On our projects, the people who price the work are the people who run it.

Hirotaka Yamasaki, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Hirotaka Yamasaki

山崎 弘貴
CHAIRMAN & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Fifty years in construction, and a career that runs alongside the modern Japanese industry itself.

He has built across Asia and as far as Ukraine, in most of the categories a contractor encounters: infrastructure, industrial, public and commercial. The range is the point. There are few building types he has not delivered, and almost no failure mode he has not already seen once.

He has chaired EPC boards, built Japanese construction alliances, and advised on international development strategy.

WORKS IN JAPANESE
HT

Hiroshi Taniguchi

谷口 洋
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Responsible for construction delivery and site execution across the group.

Taniguchi ran the build on most of what the group delivered at Expo 2025 Osaka. He is currently leading construction on a major international event venue.

What he is known for inside the group is finishing. Given a building and a date, he works out the sequence, holds the trades to it, and delivers. On a programme where the date cannot move, that is the whole job.

Ahmet Can Zorbilmez, Chief Business Officer

Ahmet Can Zorbilmez

ケン
CHIEF BUSINESS OFFICER

Responsible for commercial structuring, procurement and client delivery across Japan, Saudi Arabia and India.

A civil engineer by training, working mainly on the commercial and operational side: finding where a project will break, what it will cost, and who has to carry which part of it. Procurement across borders, contract structure, and the sequencing that decides whether a fixed date holds.

Earlier career in energy, covering geothermal and solar plant construction, and long-span steel including a tension cable roof structure delivered with Italian and Turkish contractors.

WORKS IN ENGLISH, TURKISH AND JAPANESE

Arata Aikawa

相川 新
CHIEF DESIGN OFFICER

Leads design coordination across the group.

An architect by training, with built work across several countries. His job here is the one most projects underestimate: carrying an architect’s intent through Japanese structural, fire and certification requirements without losing what made the design worth building.

Working in three languages removes a layer of translation that usually sits between the design and the site.

WORKS IN JAPANESE, ENGLISH AND VIETNAMESE

Nobuyasu Nagamune

長宗 信保
BOARD MEMBER

Thirty-five years in construction, and a business of his own.

He came up from the ground at one of the largest contractors in his prefecture and now runs his own company. Two things sit behind that: technical knowledge of an unusual depth, and a commercial instinct for what a project can and cannot carry.

WORKS IN JAPANESE

Makoto Harada

原田 誠
SENIOR ADVISER

Senior adviser to the group.

The person the team goes to when a question has no obvious answer. Long technical experience across Japanese practice, and the judgement that comes from having seen where similar decisions led before.
