Accessibility
This site is built to be usable without a mouse, without images loading, and with a screen reader. Below is what that means in practice and what we have not yet verified.
What is in place
- Every page works with the keyboard alone, including the menu and the project filters.
- A skip link at the top of each page jumps past the navigation.
- All images carry alternative text, or are marked decorative where they add nothing.
- Headings run in order, so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
- Form fields are labelled and announce errors in text, not colour alone.
- Motion is disabled entirely for anyone whose system requests reduced motion.
- Text contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA against its background.
- Nothing on the site depends on JavaScript to read or to submit.
What we have not verified
The Japanese and Arabic pages have not been tested with a screen reader in those languages. The diagrams carry text descriptions, but a complex drawing is never as clear read aloud as seen.
If something does not work
Write to info@hiterraepc.comand say which page and what happened. We will fix it and reply. If a document you need is not reachable, ask and we will send it in a format that is.
